WEA is a concept developed by a small group of concerned individuals, watching helplessly as American-based companies that provided work for our parents and grandparents put profit before principle and moved their operations to foreign countries in search of lower taxes and cheaper labor, and extremely short-sighted strategy.

We can honestly say that before researching this issue, buying American-made products was not a priority. However, knowing what we now know, we made a commitment to buy American whenever we can.

Doing so saves jobs for you, your neighbors, your family and one day if we can change the tide, for your children and grandchildren.

We recognized that it was difficult for consumers to identify products that supported American employees, so we developed the We Employ America symbol to identify the kind of companies we wanted to patronize…those who MAKE and SELL and SERVICE at least 65% of their products in America!

These companies deserve our support because they deliver higher quality and real value for the dollar thanks to the most resourceful and productive workforce in the world: Americans!

We also developed a cooperative advertising campaign to help companies spread the word.
